The European Search Fund Association (formerly the British Search Fund Assocaition) was founded to help entrepreneurs that are running or intend to run a search funds in the UK and Europe.

The members of the ESFA are entrepreneurs, business professionals, academics and investors with experience in investing and running search funds.

The association facilitates the sharing of information regarding this investment model in the UK and Europe.

The popularity of the Search Fund model in the US and the association with top business schools has resulted in close tracking of its success. The latest report from the Stanford Graduate School of Business found the blended IRR for a person investing an equal amount in each of the funds to be over 37%.
